Ameer Natson is one of the top names when it comes to celebrity chefs in the industry. But, Ameer is not only a well-known but a multi-talented and celebrated individual. He is a chef, entrepreneur, humanitarian, faith leader, counselor, and founder of the Become Creative.
After finishing high school, Natson decided to study culinary at the French Culinary Institute in New York, now known as the International Culinary Center. He then worked as a personal chef for a financial advisor in Trenton, New Jersey.
In his career as a celebrity chef, he has worked with and fed various A-list celebrities such as Beyoncé, JAY-Z, Queen Latifah, Oprah, Pharrell, Lebron James, Tyler Perry, and a host of others.
His brand was strengthened by exposure, which led to national recognition. Natson went on to co-develop a show for The Food Network and has appeared on multiple major media outlets the likes of NBC, BET, BBC, and many more.
Ameer Natson has focused on what is most needed in places that are similar to where he is from using his experiences both in turbulence and triumph and through traveling the world. In understanding that it was difficult for minority creatives to prosper because they couldn’t compete where they were unable to compare and so Ameer established a full-service creative and marketing agency named “Become Creative”, which employs local talent from inner-city neighborhoods.
Become Media Studio was launched in 2020 as a co-working space and culinary kitchen for Black creatives and aspiring chefs. Natson launched Become Creative Agency in Irvington, New Jersey. This 5,000-square feet co-working space and the culinary kitchen is a playground for creatives and aspiring chefs.
When asked about his vision for the company, he said, “My dream is to ensure that my community, our communities are reliant and self-sufficient,” Natson said. “I can’t wait to open the doors and help people turn their dreams and aspirations into reality.”
Everything has to be started from somewhere. When Ameer started his cooking journey he didn’t know what the future had planned for him, but he didn’t stop at any point and today he is unstoppable. He established and then diversified his business, now he and his company has grown into multiple businesses.
Ameer Natson is definitely an inspiration to the youth and aspiring chefs. Youngsters look up to him as their role model and follow his cooking shows and also learn from his culinary books.
